The start of a new year is the perfect time to reflect on how far you’ve come as well as set goals for the future. Dryuary gives you the opportunity to do this by exploring what your life looks like without, or with less, alcohol. Adding more dry days to your life gives you the opportunity to spend time with friends and family, pursue hobbies, and improve your physical and mental health. Committing to this journey in January also gives you the opportunity to reset your drinking habits after the holiday season. It can be difficult to embark on a journey like this alone. Joining our Dryuary community will give you a team to celebrate your successes, encourage you when the road gets rough, and help pick you up if you fall down.

Some folks choose to commit to 31 straight days of abstinence from alcohol, and some commit to including more abstinence days in their month. Although there are definitely unique gifts that come with abstaining for 31 days, every day without alcohol brings its own gift. These gifts are not reliant on completing 31 consecutive days of perfect abstinence. Whichever path you choose, our community will be here to support you the entire way.

Moderation Management (MM) is a behavioral change program and national support group network for people concerned about their drinking and who desire to make positive lifestyle changes. MM empowers individuals to accept personal responsibility for choosing and maintaining their own path, whether moderation or abstinence. MM promotes early self-recognition of risky drinking behavior, when moderating drinking is a more achievable goal. MM is run by lay members who came to the organization to solve personal issues and stayed to help others.
